Hey y’all, I am pretty excited to share a new monthly kit club with you. Felicity Jane is a totally exclusive monthly kit club featuring original 12×12 patterned papers, stencils, wood veneer, embellishments and more. I had the pleasure of working with the first kit and it was so much fun. I have two videos to share with you today as well as two projects. First is my Open Box video which you can watch here to see my thoughts on the kit.
Here are some photos I took of the kit:
Then second video is a process video for this layout:

I am always excited to see a new collection from Amy Tangerine, and this one was no exception. The soft watercolor palette is right up my alley. I also love that this collection includes a very dark grey similar to the one in Dear Lizzy Daydreamer collection instead of black. It gives great contrast without being too harsh. There are several embellishments with this collection as well as alphabet stickers, word Thickers, and new stitch templates. Here are a few products that I really love but did not pick up:
Foam Word Thickers:
Foam Word Thickers Kraft:
Transparent Alpha Stickers:

Hey there! Today I am bringing you a fun post sponsored by Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive. The nice folks at Tombow generously sent one of their new additions to an already fabulous line of liquid glue, tape runners, foam tape, pens, drawing pencils and a whole slue of awesome crafty goodness. I have long been a fan of the Tombow Mono Multi Glue , Mono Permanent Adhesive and the Mono Adhesive Removable so when I spied the Tombow Xtreme at my local craft store I had to try it out. Let’s just say I have a new favorite.
Aside from just being a convenient way to adhere pictures or paper to your projects I have found myself reaching for the Tombow Xtreme to smooth out watercolor paper thats sometimes gets a little bumpy. Below is a photo of a layout I did for the Hip Kit Club where I used the Tombow Xtreme to adhere some watercolor paper to vellum and it worked like a charm.
I also wanted to share with you some fun treat bags I made using a Lawn Fawn die, patterned paper, a few embellishments and the Tombow Xtreme Adhesive to hold it all together.
The first set of bags were created using paper and embellishments from Crate Paper Notes & Things Collection, My Mind’s Eye Market Street, and Dear Lizzy Daydreamer. These are perfect little bags for a gift card or small present. I just love that they feel handmade but are durable and modern.
Here I will walk you through the supplies needed, there will be links below, and how to put these bags together.
For the next set of bags I wanted to make a fun Halloween Treat Bag that can be used for your children’s classmates, your friends and family, or anyone who needs a little treat in their life 🙂 I did not include links to the paper and embellishments used for these bags because it is older product from my stash. This is a great way to use up things you already have!
A big huge thank you to Tombow and I hope you have enjoyed these project ideas. Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check out links to multiple sources to find the products mentioned above.
Hey y’all, Kate Kennedy here with my first layout using the October Hip Kit and Addons. I just love the colors and patterns in this kit. We had a bit of an exciting day when a lost puppy decided to set up shop in our backyard. He is so adorable but we are trying to find his owners. I just could not pass up the opportunity to use this kit to document our little adventure. I started with watercolor paper for the background and added some texture with the Ranger Texture Paste and MFT Stencil. Then just a matter of layering all the great patterns and adding a few embellishments. I ultimately cut the watercolor paper down to 11.75×11.75 and adhered to that great rich woodgrain paper. Have you ever found a lost pet before? What ended up happening with them? Thanks so much for stopping by! See you next Sunday for our Online Crop!
