Hey y’all, it’s Sunday so that means a new Hip Kit Club process video and layout! I am so loving the November kits and addons, they are so verstitle and some of the papers are just awesome. I particularly love the paper from Elle’s Studio with the graphic grey lines on it so I decided to use it for the background. The title for me is what stands out most in this layout. I got a little excited and glued my photo down without leaving enough room for the title in the thickers that come with the kit, so I dipped into my stash and used some silver glitter thickers from the February Hip Kit. Layered some patterned paper stripes and ephemera pieces and added some splashed of the silver pigment izink to complete this project. You can see the whole process in my youtube video and links to most of the products used are below, hope you are staying warm and enjoy this video!
Aside from the November Hip Kits available here, these are some of the products I used. Also, don’t forget if you are a new subscriber and want to get a FREE pattern paper addon, email Kimberly at firstname.lastname@example.org and include the code KRAFTINKATE!

For my first of four projects I used this awesome stamp by Whimsy Stamps called Scandi Christmas. I am going to be totally honest and tell you that the majority of Whimsy Stamps are not my style. They are perfect for Copic colorers, and people with incredible artistic talent, again not me 🙂 But, when I saw this beauty all my stampy wishes were answered. I have been wanting a ‘sweater’ stamp for so long and not only does this one come with already make lines that you can repeat stamp for an awesome background it comes with a bunch of component stamps that you can create your own pattern with. Truly the best of both worlds with this type of stamp set.
I used the cute little reindeer stamp as well as some of the other smaller ones to create this card:
To be certain your pattern is straight I sketch very faint pencil lines to keep my stamping on track. I used some white woodgrain paper for the base of the card but if you don’t have any you can use an embossing folder or background stamp to get the same texture. To see the full process please watch the video below. I hope you have enjoyed this video and check out HotRodsBoutique on Etsy! Also there are links for all other supplies used below.
Hey y’all, Kate Kennedy here with my first project using the November kit. Can you believe the Holiday season is here already? Where does the time go? I am holding out just a couple of weeks before the full swing of Christmas sets in so for this first layout I wanted to use all the fun teals, reds, and woodgrains in the kit, and of course I have to have some metallic, so silver it is. This week iMovie has had a mind of its own and I could not do a voiceover so instead of fast forwarding and playing music I decided to mix it up a bit and do a real time video. Now, this means two things, its a super long video and you get to experience my ENTIRE process, the good, the bad, and the ugly. So grab a cup of hot cocoa or coffee and I really hope you enjoy the process! See you next week!
Here is the process video for this layout:
Also I was really bad in October and didn’t share my other Hip Kit projects, so here is a look at my layouts using the October Hip Kits:
