Hey y’all! I am excited to announce I will be part of the She Glossy Design Team for the next few months. I took a pretty long break from DT work while we moved and did some remodeling, but, I am super excited to get back into the swing of things. She Glossy has put together a fun mix of DT Members including a Scrapbook Design Team and a Planner Design Team. I hope you will check out the store and all the other DT members. Thanks for stopping by!
Hey y’all hope you are having a great Monday. Today I am bring you something a little different. I had the pleasure of working with the super sweet girls at Club Scrap and the opportunity to work with their kits. Club Scrap is a membership based ‘club’ with tons of different options as well as loads of embellishments, stamps, card stock, ribbon and it is all exclusive to Club Scrap. It really has something for everyone. Their motto is ‘Join the Fun. Get it Done.’ And that is precisely what their kits allow you to do. I really enjoyed the quality of the rubber stamp set and the card stock was a dream to work with. It is heavy weight and comes in beautiful colors. If you are not a card maker they also offer scrapbooking kits that come with precut photo mats and design ideas with detailed instructions. This is something great for a beginning scrapbooker or someone who just wants to ‘get it done.’ If you are not new to my blog or youtube channel you know that my ‘syle’ is to mix all sorts of designs and manufactures and I believe that you can easily incorporate Club Scrap products into any style or type of scrapbooking and cardmaking. Below are some photos of the cards I made using the Botanicals Borders and Backdrops stamp set and the awesome mint and purple card stock. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you will visit Club Scrap!!!
Quote Card – When I opened the box from Club Scrap I was immediately drawn to the beautiful creamy lavender card stock and knew I had to use it. Aside from the awesome quality of the card stock, which I can’t say enough about, the color was perfection. I took the polka dot background stamp and some black ink and double stamped it to create the background. Double stamping is dipping once in ink and stamping twice to get the crisp black image then the softer gray. I then stamped and embossed the quote onto vellum. The trick I have found for embossing on vellum without burning it is to apply heat from the back first. I added some glitter purple card stock and called it done.
You Are Loved Card – I wanted to make a bright and colorful card so I used some fun pattern papers from my stash and used the Club Scrap mint card stock base (which is fabulous). I used some colorful pigment ink to create the sentiment and a fun banner die. The versatile sentiment makes it great for any occasion.
I hope you will check out Club Scrap and see what they have to offer. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Today I am doing a product review on the Hero Arts Ombre Ink Pad. I have very mixed feelings about it. Keep in mind I only tried the Pink to Red color so I have no idea how the other ones work. Also, this is just my opinion. Click the video below to hear more and see how I made my own ombre look. Thanks for stopping by!
