I am really excited to announce that I will be part of the Top Dog Dies 2015 Design Team. If you haven’t been to their website, you should totally check it out. They have some really fun dies as well as tons of other products. Here is one of my favorites from the latest release:
How adorable is this flamingo???
I can’t wait to share some awesome projects with you in the upcoming months!!! Here is the official announcement!
This is a bright, fun, sparkly layout I create with the Studio Calico Cirque scrapbook kit papers. I didn’t have the whole kit because I don’t subscribe to them anymore, but, whenever I just love papers, I order the kit paper add on. The awesome papers went perfectly with embellishments from the new Dear Lizzy Fine & Dandy line. Can we talk about how cute that line is? … SWOON worthy! The products used are listed below! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
The definition of perfect is having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be …
I have always struggled with thinking that everything had to be perfect. Or at least my idea of perfect. The problem with this, is that inevitably, you will be disappointed. I don’t think it was until I met my husband and began planning our wedding that I really let go of the striving for perfection. He really helped me ‘chill out’ and enjoy things as they are, and not dwell on how I think things should be. I really understood that I would never be perfect and found great peace in knowing that I will always be perfectly, imperfect.
The new kit from Felicity Jane called I Am is amazing! The constant theme throughout all the kits that I just can’t get enough of are the black and white patterns, and this kit is no exception. The combination of classic black & white along with spot on trends makes these kits fun and inspiring. This month features the cutest flamingos ever! My other favorite part are the stamp sets included. If you are not a stamper you can purchase a kit minus the stamp. Here is a layout I created with the I Am kit along with some items from past kits (they work beautifully together). Also check out the unboxing video below for all the details. Two things I am loving right now …
1. the June Hip Kits
2. the ‘packaging’ watercolor technique
For this layout I used 12×12 Canson Watercolor paper that I applied a thin layer of gesso to, along with Distress Ink in Evergreen Bough and Tumbled Glass. Then I used a couple of shipping tags to form the base for the photos. To see the full process please click the video below. Thanks for stopping by!
